how do i get into yahoo groups that say "age restricted"?

for example i tried to get into the tcannex but it said it was age restricted, and i couldn't pass. i am 22, so i'm legal. can someone please help?

I suggest going to your Yahoo! Profile and enter your legal age in it. That may work.

Yep. That and clicking on the button agreeing that you're of age will get you into the groups. Just be aware that yahoo groups is really messed up at the moment...having constant database problems. So, they're popping up random messages all over the place. Persistance is the key to getting in and accessing what you want.

This issue, among other reasons, is why Yahoo!Groups annoys the hell out of me. I had this problem (well, not so much "problem" as "annoyance") with a group I created. As far as my experience suggests, you need to sign in first, then go to the group. I really think it would be a good idea for them to add a "sign-in" option to that "Age restricted" page, that would automatically direct you to the group after signing in, so long as you're over 18.
