how do I post flickr pics in thread starters ?

I'm trying to post pics from flickr in a thread starter. I insert a URL but it still doesn't take it. I am not posting video, just pics. It says staticflickr, is that the problem ?

If you want it to thumbnail, you need to attach it - download the picture, then click "attach files" at the bottom of the posting window in your thread, and upload it onto the forum.

Then you can just leave it as an attachment, or if you want to embed it into the post, there will be buttons on the picture for "insert"
