How Do I.......................

For those of us who have a 56K modem, is there any way to download clips a little faster? And how does one get a "still" from a clip? Help! 🙁
 
Download Manager

striptickle, there is no way to really improve download speeds, because you are limited by the slowest part - the phone line. You can try using a download manager which supposedly enables better speeds. I use Download Accelerator: Click to go to their website

I like to use it, as it also improves broken downloads by enabling them to be resumed. You can also do multiple downloads simultaneously, schedule downloads & download things then have it shut your computer down while you are away!
