How do you approach tickling someone?

I'm sure that many of you have heard the phrase "tis easier to ask forgiveness than permission". How do you approach the subject? Ask permission, or forgiveness after the fact? I have mostly taken the road of asking for forgiveness myself. It usually seemed more "spontaneous" that way rather than something you had "planned". Kinda hides your interest and makes it seem much more innocent.

I am more interested in finding out if/where people are ticklish. I also love their reactions when asked. But for tickling, just exploring is fun. Besides, what fun is asking, "Hey do you mind if I check your sides for their tickle level?" Answer: none. You just dive in and explain, "Sorry madame, official belly button inspector. We at the bureau are inspecting bellies, buttons and sides for minimum ticklishness. You pass. Now if you will excuse me, I must return to the BBB headquarters. Have a nice day ma'am, and if you have any questions, or would like more inspection, here is my number. I also inspect many other areas for ticklishness."

Yeah I was a huge fan of "accidental tickling" growing up! I had one boyfriend when I was 17 who I would make out with and while doing so would slide my hands up his shirt and glide my fingertips lightly around his sides and stomach till I found a spot that would tense every time i touched it. I'd focus on that spot and could tell he was trying to fight it and finally he'd squirm and give a forced half laugh and he'd say "you're tickling me!" or "that tickles stop!" and I'd always give the "oh sorry" response and act confused... haha!
Those were the days!
In my relationship now my boyfriend knows alll about it so there's no more pulling fast ones any longer 🙁 lol!
But the tickling is much more intense now as well. 😛
Although there was always something so intense and sexy about secret tickling too. 🙂

You never ask permission to touch, ever! You just do it, be it tickling or something else that's intimate. If a guy asked me during a date if he could kiss me, I would tell him no because the question is so damn awkward. If he tried to and I didn't want it, I would just turn away or start talking or something. He would know I don't want it without having to be totally embarrassed. Same thing with tickling.

I usually just tickle them without thinking about it, there is no how do you approach it! They usually say stop if they don't like it or in my case nothing which is an invitation to continue lol.
