How "fast" is your 2009 going?

I ask because I am in complete awe that we're already 1/2-way through the year! Hell, at this rate, it'll be the freakin' Holidays before we know it! For the past few years, I was busy with school, so the speedy years made some sort of sense, I guess. This year, though, I'm just chillin'...and it STILL seems like time's rushing by at an alarming rate. 😱

Or is it just me? How fast is your 2009 going?

I feel the exact same way! And it's kinda pissing me off, actually. I hoped to be able to take things easy and enjoy life this year, which is something I've not been letting myself do in the past. And yet... it's June. It's nearly the middle of June! The year's way better than '08, so maybe that's why it's going so fast. Still, feels like a raw deal.

Sounds at least as though everyone's having a decent time, anyway! I guess I just don't want this season to end. It's just gonna get incrementally hotter where I live from here on out. Thunderstorms every afternoon. Fuckin' Florida. Eh, you take the bad with the good, I guess.

It's the Quickening! Yes, I have heard it too that after 50 time seems to speed up. Can't believe my wife's B-day is next month. It's coming up too quick. Gotta think, gotta think. AAAUUUUGGGHHH!

My birthday's in June, so I've been waiting for 2009 to hurry the F up. :stickout
Summer's the best. Nice and warm, no school, reminds me of being a carefree kid. We have some crappy winters where I live, so I definitely enjoy me some Summer.

I won't mind seeing Fall, though. Fall in the burbs with the leaves everywhere is kind of beautiful. Plus, there's Halloween. Another time of the year that reminds me of being a kid.. watching horror movies, carving a pumpkin, and eating the roasted seeds. Good times. 😉

I did see it. Thought the acting was a bit thin in places. My fave part was when M. O'D attempts to show the video for Sid Vicious' version of "My Way", but instead has to explain that Paul Anka (the song's author) refused to give the clip clearance.

My favorite SNL Mr. Mike segments were "Ricky Rat" and "Least-Loved Fairy Tales".

It has been going fast this year i don't know where it went pretty soon it will be halloween again then thanksgiving then christmas i can't believe its almost my birthday already in two months which of course i hate because i don't like getting older
