We have to limit the size of video files that get attached her to under 10 megabytes, which isn't a lot of space. But I've found that most mainstream clips can be made to fit into that limitation using an online video compressor.
The one I prefer is https://www.freeconvert.com/video-compressor and it's very simple to use.
You just upload the video, then click the gear wheel and where it says "Compression Method" choose "Target a file size." Then under "Target Size" put 9.9 and then click "apply settings."
Then click "Compress Now" and it will output your video at 9.9 megabytes, small enough to attach to your post.
