How to get audio and video clips to work on windows movie maker?

I want to know how to get video clips to work on movie maker because i only get audio and no visual.
Also i would like to know where i could get Sailor moon clips to make a video on youtube. I dont mind whether or not they're english/japanese. If anyone could help me out,it'd be deeply appreciated!

maybe its due to a software problem, try to download a codec-pack like "k-lite", it will install al the necessary codec's to view all kinds of formats.
the other thing is maybe to download a windows-service-pack for the windows version you are using, windows-xp or windows-7...or update your video card with a new driver.
hope it will sololve the problem.
windows moviemaker is a nice tool, I use it also to make a compilation of all my vaforit scene's.

Windows Movie Maker can only edit certain types of audiovisual files. What sort of file are you editing? Do you know its extension? This could be .wmv, .rm, .mov, .avi, and so on.
