Welcome to the Theater. =)

Check the very top of the website, and you'll see a list of drop-down menus. The one labeled "My Control Panel" has options for changing avatars and signatures, among other things.

Just make sure to have your signature within a "reasonable" size... some members here can get very, VERY persnickety about such things...
