My vote for this thread is that there will be a three team playoff needed, with two one game playoffs. I think that the Braves will have a sense of urgency tomorrow, and will win against Philly. I also think that the way the Padres have been playing, they will win as well. This would cause an NL West tie between the Giants and Padres, and a Wild Card tie between Atlanta and San Diego. I think it will take two one game playoffs to decide who will win the NL West, and who will win the Wild Card.
4u, last I checked, I wasnt bi polar.
Excuse me if I'm a bit emotional about a team I've rooted for since 1983, that blew a seven game division lead, and a two game Wild Card lead with three to play. I was upset when I wrote that earlier post.
Just think, if Atlanta loses tomorrow, and the Padres win, you get revenge on me for razzing you about the Metropolitans blowing the 7 game lead in 2007. The way my year has gone, chances are the Braves will go home tomorrow, but, I was polling with my gut, and not my head,

I had no clue my name was Dude...thank you for clarifying that for me.Dude, I KNOW there are more important things in life. My mom has cancer, as you may know, so that is my primary concern. Right now this is a distraction from what has been a horrible seven months.
mils, I know that any team can beat any team on any given day. The pathetic 80s Braves used to beat the Mets at Shea when I went there.
I understand about you voting that you want the Braves and Padres both to win. Such would be the most interesting scenario for baseball, as it would create the three way tie. A tie for the Giants and Pads for the NL West, and a tie for the wild card.
In such a case, whatever team gets out of that whole mess, is going to be extremely tired come the opening of the NLDS, because their opponent will be well rested, and that team's pitching rotations will be shot.
