Initially, Hogan making appearances will make people pay attention, but it won't make TNA more competitive. Hogan is FAR past his prime and his only noteworthy attributes are his mic skills and charisma. In the ring, he's a slouch and not worth seeing... or even mentioning at this point in his career.
This signing will go over just as all the other big names have- People will pay attention for a week or two and go back to WWE. TNA will continue to be the little brother that gets ignored by the big kids.
All the former WWE names they have signed have risen their ratings 60% from where they were last year
