Humingbirds As A Tickle Tool

Hi All,

I have noticed in a lot of clips that the hummingbird flosser is being used a lot as a great tickle tool. In the clips, they are using a rather large hand hled unit. Mine is a very small devise (pocket size) then the one that is shown here on the TMF. So I was wondering if anyone has tried both and if there is a diffeence between the two in the quality of the tickling.

I have the little handheld on that you have I believe. In my experience it doesn't work well at all. The thought of it is more shocking than anything, but in practical use it seems to flop.

Okay, maybe I live under a rock, but what is a hummingbird?

What is this that everyone talks about alot? Sorry if this has been asked before. thanks for any responses

Those poor little birds! Can you even catch one in your hand long enough to tickle someone with it?? 😀

This little humming bird is pretty cool, but don't press too hard or it will scatch a bit instead of tickle.

The big "hummingbird" sucks as a tickling tool...but works really well as a dental tool..go figure.

I didn't know that the little tool was called a hummingbird, so when I first saw this thread my thoughts was either this is a parody or why would anyone use a bird to tickle someone.

My sentiments exactly

I just had to click the link to see what this thread was about. Lo and behold, it's about a toothbrush. :jester:

Yes...
but a REALLY FANCY toothbrush...
that shoots lasers out of its eyeballs. =)

Personally, I like the hummingbird. But, I tend to like it (when used on me) without any of the heads on it. The inner part is smooth and round and works quite well in many different areas...for those who are sensative to lighter tickles. I've also found that using the floss itself lightly under a toenail is good. It tends to send shivers through people. Again, though, it depends on the touch one responds to. If you need the rougher touches, it won't be a good tool for you. But, if you're like me and respond to the light touches, it's a great little toy.

I bought one at the supermarkey, seeing how inexpensive it was. Suffice to say, I think the electric flosser is a much more evil and effective toy. For some reason, the hummingbird is actually more effective with the cap on than with the cap off and the tip inserted -- it's as if the handle vibrates more than the tip...

Exactly! We found that same thing, that it seems to work better with the cap on!
