Wow I just had to tell you all about what is happing here in Hilo, Hawaii. 8:00pm 8/13/07
We have hurricane Flossy, which just made a turn for the big Island, and should hit the big Island around noon tomorrow. :laughing:
Also we just had an 5.3 mag earthquake at 7:30pm HSTime 08/13/07 :laughing:
And the earthquake was centered at the Volcano Kilauea, which is about 35 miles away. Kilauea has been actively erupting since 1983. The volcano, as of the last couple months, has been very active. Since the earthquake was centered at Kilauea, I wonder what we will see when daylight comes. :laughing:
This is going to be a weird 24 hours, hurricane, earthquake, and volcano.😉
But as the locals would say, “no worries bra!”
