Hey guys!
It's been awhile and I have been off the forums for a few reasons. 1 was my Internships and 2 was well Tidas and I broke up over the summer. I most likely won't be on really anymore but Adam one of the fellow TMF'ers encouraged me to post this video of me trying out for American Idol. I thought you all would get a kick. So enjoy the vid it shows me going through the whole process minus the middle part (No cameras allowed in the audition room)

Eh, don't worry about Awkward. Communities like this one often find members getting together, then breaking up, and often getting together each with another member. It usually doesn't cause problems.

lol Dude! I love the Garfield Comic Strip! OMG I nearly fell off the bed! As for sticking around the break up was kinda fail I won't get into it. But It's easier for me not to be around.
 
Oh, I'm so glad you decided to share with us! Yes, it is true, I knew about this about a week ago but held off on saying anything here. This was Elfriend's adventure to use as she saw fit, after all. I just knew the TMF would definitely support her! That video is epic. The Hannah Montana look was a nice touch. But Rick Rolling Idol? Absolutely the best thing EVER!

Now if I can speak on another issue, please allow me to say something about feeling "awkward", Ellie. I have never been in a TMF relationship like the one you had with Tidas. However, there was a time when I felt it was best to step away from the forum for a while to clear my head. It involved a friendship with someone that went sour. Fortunately, I realized that one person does not a forum make, you know? Ultimately, I know you'll do what you feel is right. But just so you know, there are a bunch of folks who really, really like you around here. You are a sweet and charming young lady. I know I can't tell you what to do, but please take that into consideration. OK? You're awesome. I know it and the sane people around here know it. Remember that. 🙂

First of all ... sorry to hear about your breaking up w/Tidas.

Secondly ... I hope you decide not to disappear from here altogether. If you do leave , then that's completely understandable ... & I hope you don't feel any "pressure" to stick around on account of what anybody else wants around here. Do what you have to do for you.

But I gotta say ... everytime you've shown up here & left a post/response , you've definitely been a breath of fresh air & , dare I say , a ray of sunshine. Your upbeat attitude & genuine good nature would certainly be missed & the TMF as a whole would suffer because of your absence. We're better with you as an active member than without ... but as I said , do what you think is best.

At any rate , thanks for sharing w/us your cute vid. If this truly is "good-bye" , then take care. I wish ya nothing but the best. :wavingguy
 
First of all, congratulations for being brave enough to audition! American Idol doesn't always know good talent judging by some of their current picks vs their so-called "failures."

Second, don't ever feel that you can't be an integral part of this forum because you broke up with Tidas. I bet he won't stop being a member here, so you shouldn't either. There are members who started out as couples (even married) who broke up and even found other members to share their lives with. You're a beautiful young woman who has contributed much to this forum; think about it before you leave here. You have every right to be here my dear.........don't let your break up dictate your future!

I wish you well either way.

Awkwardness will not be an issue for me, I still want to be friends despite the painful breakup. I won't make it an issue, and I will be quiet about it if necessary. Good job rickrolling American Idol though El, that's pretty funny shit.
