I can't believe things like this go on in this world

Yeah, every now and then I read about crazy witch-doctor things like this. It happens in Africa ans Asian, but occasinally North America, too (Matamoros Mexico comes immediately to mind)
 
This does go on in the world. There are a lot of stupid, superstitious, un-educated (they never had even a single day's schooling) people especially in rural India, Pakistan, other rural parts of Asian countries and parts of rural African countries. Educated people living in urban (and even rural) parts of Asia and Africa are more intelligent than this. Africans mostly go to witchdoctors for charms that'll make them invisible or invincible. Every week i read about some African failing in his attempt to rob a bank, weighed down by 10Kg of stone charms that he thought would make him invisible. Honour killing is another practice that I abhor.
