I can't make it to the Motown Party

I am sorry but I can't make it to this year's Motown Party because I made plans with friends a while ago to go to the PA Renaissance Fair. We didn't have a firm date until last Saturday. We're going on Oct. 20th. Haven't been to the Renaissance Fair in PA anyway. I did go when I was living in Atlanta, GA. Also, I am curious to see if they have foot stocks and if they do, maybe I'll go in them and get tickled.

Anyway , I'm in the same boat that you are. I would love to make it back to Michigan to attend another MTP , but there's four members of my family that have birthdays in October ( mother , father , brother , & brother-in-law ) & what we usually do is to have one party for all of 'em.

Right now , it's not written in stone that a birthday party is going to be on the same weekend of the gathering , but it probably will be. In any event , I'm going to a Buffalo Sabres game ( w/my brother ) on the Friday night before the actual gathering , so I'd definitely miss the costume party.

So , in the likely event I'm not able to be there , I hope everyone has a great time at this year's fall gathering.
