Hate to say it, but i dont have high hopes for the steelers to win the AFC. Tennessee looks like the only real solid team in the AFC.
You're just mad because the Pats couldn't handle
Blitzburgh!
😀
As for betting, yes, it's been a CRAPSHOOT year (Vegas finally wised up). HFA means little to nothing.
But always keep in mind that Vegas sets the odds to MAKE money, not lose.

If everyone won all the time, gambling wouldn't exist.
From what I've seen, few simple rules apply to the NFL (and related gambling trends) this year:
1. Home team is favored unless playing a vastly superior opponent.
2. Most, if not many spreads are within 1/2-1 pt of predicted finaly outcome based on PF per game and PA per game.
3. As 'The Sports Guy' pointed out, all but 2 (out of at least 10) 10+ pt spreads
hadn't covered this year (until the last two weeks in which this trend suddenly changed.)
4. The more desperate (or team that needs it more) seems to win more than 50% of their games.
If you keep tabs of these things and do your best to sort them out, you might hover around .500 for picks/gambling/making money.
Not great, but better than losing it all.
