The Chicago Bears are right near the Cowboys and Steelers as my least favorite teams...and I've been a die-hard Saints fan for decades.

Even so, I must congratulate the Bears fans here on the victory. Chicago played much better than I thought they would have. While my Saints played valiantly, turnovers cost them. It was a great season for the Saints, though, and nothing to be ashamed of.

So, as much as it pains me...congratulations Bears on a game well played. Whomever they play in the Super Bowl (hopefully Indy, but I wouldn't mind seeing the Pats go for 4 out of 6 and a rematch!)...they will give them a game, that's for sure.

Also, congrats to Lovie Smith for being the first black head coach in the Super Bowl. Hopefully by the end of the night, Tony Dungy will join you.

Great job, Chicago. :triangle:

I have no connection to either team, but i was really hopeing the Saints would win, when you think about what the team and city have been through. They did have a great year though, and it looks like they have something to build on for the future.Sorry about your team Dave, better luck next year.

The Bears were just dominant. But you really have to give some love to the Saints for doing what they did for New Orleans and making it this far.

The Bears were by far the better team today. But I am disappointed the Saints didn`t win. It would have been a storybook ending to all the hardship New Orleans has been through.

Yes, it would have been nice to see the Saints pull it off. Somehow the Superbowl won't be quite as good a story as it could've been this year.

I'm glad the Saints lost. The Bears played a great game and I'm happy for Lovie Smith.

The Bears played a good game, especially Grossman. I don't have a connection to either team, but I would have liked to see the Saints represent the NFC. Next up, Tony Dungy and the Colys. Could this be the year that Manning gets that elusive ring?

While I was rooting for the Bears to get back to the Superbowl, I definitely would not have been disappointed if the Saints had won. They were a hell of a team this year and even though they lost today they have nothing to be ashamed of.

I'm also tickled pink the Colts won today. I'm sooooo tired of seeing the Patriots EVERYWHERE. I was so hoping for a Bears vs Colts superbowl and I got it. It should be a good damn game this year. 😀

hmm i like both the bears and the colts...who do i root for? and remember kids, whenever i root for a team and watch the game, they tend to lose...hmm wonder why that is? like last night, sighs...

Please dont mention your pick until after the game then! :wavingguy

Well I like both the teams, and I know not who to root for, but maybe the Colts, they have never had a Super Bowl Victory, not since they have been in Indy.
It is win-win really, i like both teams.

The Bears game was not tense, they just waltzed in and took the game. It was entertaining tho to watch them pound the shit out of the Saints.

What do you guys thing, had that last interception by the Colts not occured at the end, would the Colts have prevented the Patriots from scoring?
Speculation.

Bears and Colts the XLI, dream come true! Mimi, does this kick ass or what? It is going to be a HELL of a game!

The Chicago defense really stepped it up there last week. I was very impressed, and I take my lumps for past comments.

However, for Chicago to be successful against the Colts, the offensive line's gonna have to be firing on all cylinders. Healthily. Because, let's face it: champions are not borne from the attitude that Rex Grossman's providing. You don't win when the look on your face radiates "Oh, my God, I hope I get through this." You're not watching Ken Stabler here...

I always thought Chicagos D was pretty good, and the reason why they win the majority of the games. Rex Grossman on the other hand played like a winner, for a change. If the OL can protect Grossman, it's possible he can do some things. Chicago's D has to stop Manning
