One day as a priest was hearing confessions an old man came in.
"Forgive me Father," he said, "for I have sinned. Years ago when the Germans took over France a beautiful Jewish woman asked me to hide her. So I did."
"But my son," the priest said, "that's a good thing! You did what the Lord wanted you to do."
"That's not all father," the old man said, "you see, she was so beautiful I told her I only would if she'd have sex with her."
This gave the old priest pause. He took a deep breath before answering. "Well, my son, that is a heafty sin. However it was a hard, stressful time and you sound trully repentant, I'm sure God has forgiven you by now."
After a moment the old man asked, "Father, do you think I should tell her the war's over?"
