The problem is that people have it way too good in the usa, and when something isn't exactly perfect, they believe the world is coming to an end. Seriously, most of the places around the world would love to have whether or not intelligent design is science as one of their biggest problems...Social advancement is easily available to anyone that wants to. I mean, how many other countries will pay you to go to school and better yourself, help you out with rent and food, and allow you to badmouth the government as much as you want while doing it?(if you want to, that is) That's a pretty darn good place!

Phoenix is beautiful....considering the fact that the northeast is always getting punished this time of year. The base is pretty quiet, save for the jets in afterburner. How is grad school and the burgh treating you? I miss it alot!

People like Ben Franklin, Jefferson, Hancock, Lincoln, Both Roosevelts, Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, Alexander Gram Bell, Edgar Alan Poe, Martin Luther King, and well the list can go on. I figure we must be doing something right if we can produce men like these.

Oh..oh, and I like speaking only one language...though I'm going have to brush up on my Spanish some day.

and i'm surprised with such a melting people ( not a secret USA had many different emigrants during a large amount of time ) * sounds weird for a quite "young" country * only ONE major language appears, and the second one is spanish ? is that for real or it is a joke ?

Anyway, I understand very well one is happy to live where one is born if the nation that person lives in is one with fundamental civilized values.
