I love it when the days are cooler...a bit of a nip in the air already..tomorrow is October..yippeee...Halloweeny month..i'll put out my decorations first thing tomorrow...the leaves are changing..the days grow shorter...i like that..as i find night times to be super cozy....

The Autumn has always been my favorite season. The trees are getting their color. The cool winds are blowing. The new stars are beginning to appear in the sky. The nights are so crystal clear with no haze and humidity in the air. I love the traditional country decorations which people put out especially out in the farmland.

October in particular is my favorite month. It starts with my birthday and ends with Halloween. There is just so much to love about this month.

This the best season to really BBQ. I can do roasts, wild game and interesting cut of meat while taking in the crisp air. A cold one still tastes good while the coals are burning down.

I appreciate this weather for camping or hunting. Not so much for fishing.

Even I don't get something in the field, I love the trees when they are changing especially in the NE.

LOL! I live near a pretty decent sized river. I'll take walks at night to take in the night air. The handrails of the bridge at night are a giant spiderweb. I made the mistake of almost putting my hand on it. That was a very fast wakeup call! :lol

God damn little buggers. I know they get rid of flies and other things but damit, I just wish they'd stop crawling into my house!

At least I don't live down South anymore. I HATE GARDEN SPIDERS! Especially the yellow striped black ones. Those things weave nets so big they actually drink the blood of birds that get caught in their nets! Worst of all they're poisonous!

I love this month as well! :ggrin:

Aside from the wide array of colours appearing in the scenery, while it's stil warm enough to not be forced into a full-body parka, this is the month to witness an appearance of all those 'spooky', scary, violent, bloody, gory images. It just gives me the warm tinglies and makes my fingers itch with inspiration, thinking about it all!

All-in-all, I really like this month! :happy:

i have to say this time of year is good but living here in Minnesota in less than a couple of months it could be 20 below zero and ass deep in snow.
that's not so good.
it is a good time to cuddle up to your mate a little closer though.

the hollywood brother like this time of year as the beaches and water on the east coast are still warm but not too crowded. the leaves change color which looks nice and you can still get some warm summer like days before old man winter attacks
