iceman knocked out cold...again

so franklin still knocked out liddel even with a broken hand....maybe its finally time for the iceman to hit that ol' dusty trail. Tis was a good fight and liddel looked the best he has looked.

Not even that Liddell lost by KO (5 losses in last 6 fights, 4 losses by KO), but he looked bad in that fight. He looked slow, over-aggressive and sloppy. It was a completely different kind of game plan for Liddell, which didn't suit his skill set or age (though I did like the idea of him using a takedown) and it cost him.

Once his arm heals, Franklin could conceivably make a run at the title, but unless Liddell makes a huge statement against his next opponent, he'll never be champ again.

Wasn't the Iceman the name of a "champion heavyweight boxer" in some really cheesy movie like ten years ago? I think the movie was supposed to be loosely based on Mike Tyson, and the champ that goes to jail on alleged rape charges is called the Iceman.

UFC 115 was really a good event. Every fights in the main card were entertaining..
