idea for a new feature for the site

Ok when you go to the personals section there is various sections for example Florida is Southern United States. So thats where I would click being I am in Destin, but when I go there I see people posting ads in GA, and in places like Orlando Florida. The point I am trying to get at is the sections are simply to broad a space. It would be interesting to see something like have them show you your location on a map in relation to someone else. People dont realize how far apart say Miami are Florida, like California is a big place. Or maybe do this for Verified users.

That being said, having a visual would be cool! I’d love to just see a map with all the (general) areas TMF’ers around the country/world!

That’s one reason I’m not going for verification. I’m a very private person. And I never talk location. I’ve already had one person I’ve had to block and report.

For one, verification doesn't require anyone to know your location.

Two, I doubt any of the tmf software allows users to browse profiles for any search / key words / birthdays at all

Three, and this is a big one folks, you can just NOT share that info....

It sucks that people have to be such assholes. It would be so nice if everyone just respected each others privacy and space. If you said "no" it would be taken for what it meant. But, I guess that's asking too much anymore...

Agreed, sadly there's some dangerous people out there. Though the map idea would be cool for people who choose to share their location.

Oh oh, that makes more sense. I thought you meant a legit map!

Even so, when I put in my town on Fetlife, someone ended up looking for me downtown a couple of times, completely unwarranted. Also, someone that lived on my street commented on where I was/worked. That’s actually the reason I deleted my Fetlife. Maybe that’s why I am jaded about specific location, LOL!

Could definitely work for some though, in terms of networking with other members!

I like where you’re going with the location concept, tickleteasing. I’ve thought about this same thing in relation to finding other like-minded ticklees say on a plane or festival or sporting event. Wouldn’t it be so cool to summon your ticklee like you summon an Uber driver to find you at a cross street, you both saunter into a cafe, and wallah...you both are playing ticklish footsie together under a secluded table in the corner. Sigh. A guy can dream 🙂 Thanks for the beautiful thought experiment and diversion. Alas, like alot of the comments thus far; stalking, security, and safety issues are a bit of a challenge. Would have to have serious vetting and layers of protection built in to an app like that. Interested in hearing more from everyone on the ticklish possibilities. Thanks again for starting the conversation, tickleteasing.
