Well I am backing up from writing tickling stories... It is obvious that my imagination and desire in that area is feeble and weak, so I am going to the different topics of writing now.

What I wanted to ask you was to help me choose what will I write next about, cause I am little shaken up because of my lack of inspiration. I have few ideas, but none of them are complete and none of them will be tickling.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Idea #1. In the future the mortality exists no more, for through the gene engineering almost seventy percent of population has become the 'True Humans', artificially created vampires that now breed the old human race for their satisfaction, their sweet blood, the only ecstasy of the 'False Vampires'. The Earth is now covered with plates that accumulate the light and accumulate and protect vampires from harm. The story begins at the moment when few 'Ancients', the original vampires arise from their hideouts and take it in their hands to defend the pride of their dignified race. Also few other monsters come back and try to take their rightful place in this world, world now deprived of any meaning.

Idea #2. The story follows two different people that walk the same path, that pass through same places at the exactly same time, yet have never seen each other. Follow the story of Fade and Typhex as they roam the lands and explore it, side by side, yet never seeing the other, one enjoying the peaceful World of Eden, other the World of Diyu. See how worlds are intertwined and what consequences does ones action have in other world. Enjoy the universe of Median.

Idea #3. In the realm that is overwhelmed with gods and goddesses, where every action is overseen by them and there is no place to hide from their interventions, one man yearns to free himself from them, even at the ultimate cost. He will do anything to destroy all divine creatures, all monsters of the world and he is not afraid to break every possible rule to get his goal. He is dubbed Samael, 'Fool of divine', a magician on the impossible quest that might change everyones lives.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well those are my ideas... if you have any idea to add, you are welcome and please do criticize me. I appreciate the constructive critic more than all the praises in the world.

Out of the three, I think #2 has most potential. First one taps a wee bit too much on vampires, who are overused lately, while the third does the same to gods who, again, pop in way too often lately.

Hm... so lovers of philosophic studies will have their chance to crucify me in one week time because of Median Universe story (BTW Median means something like half, but in mathematical context and it is quite boring subject, but just for you to know I give my every character or world some symbolic meaning.)

I would say idea two:
On a different theme slightly adrift i remember a book came out in about 1990 called replay or recall set in the USA. where a fifty year old editor is reborn in his same era as a twenty yearold retaining his memory from the past. he makes a fortune because he knows the computer age coming, who won what, sees his past sees his wife before he married dies about three times. leads a different life each time finally gets it right.a bit like the wonderful world film they put on in the uk every xmas.you asked for insperation and i gave you boredom sorry. but it may trigger ideas best of luck.wish i'd got your talent.

Idea #2!

Sounds like the most thoughful story, which you could keep going as long as you were inspired to write. The possibilities seem relatively endless, and the story arc could evolve into many different tangents, should you choose to develop them.

Of course, the tangent angle could also be said for Idea #3 as well, but it would seem less heartfelt and more 'Hollywood'...

My two cents... and I will read what you write, if you post it. That's the entire reason why that I originally joined this forum.

There is no boredom in good intent and recommendation.

Thank... we will see how much will it evolve, but last night at the opera I got the most splendid ideas. I have to go to opera more often...

All three sound really good; though first most confiding and time consuming to actually work out. :umm:

All three will be time consuming, because of complexity of the story, world and the characters. First is so so already based by existing characters like Dracula, Bloody Mary, Peter Pjogochorovich and so on. They are historical vampires and 'ancient ones' so I don't have to bother to explain them much.

In second idea I have to separate story into two worlds, two different views on the world, two different ideas and characters.

Third is however most epic to me, for I love epic epic battles. That idea was filled with them and that is what takes much of my time.

So far I will write Median universe (#2) and will let you see how it is when it ends. 🙂
