If feet are ticklish,why aren;t hands the same way

I was just wondering,if feet are a known common ticklish
area,why aren;t hands ticklish too??.If you think about
it,hands are a little like feet examples are texture,
shape ,ect..But I haven;t heard of anyone being ticklish
on their hands..maybe it;s due that some people work
with their hands so they maybe aren;t as soft ,sensitive
as feet?.But then ,on the other hand we all walk on our
feet so you'd think feet would sometimes have callouses
(I have seen some peoples feet with callouses and I have
to look away,some people just don;t pamper their feet like
some of us do ).Personally I take better care of my
feet keeping them soft,nice looking and very ticklable 😀
than I do making sure I brush and floss my teeth 3 times a day
.Call me nuts 😛 but we all set priorities and mine just happen
to be take good care of my feet and don;t worry about having
drop dead white teeth when I smile .In case your wondering,NO
I don;t have really white teeth but they aren't yellow say if
I were a smoker .

I know a certain someone that has very ticklish palms. She happens to be a member of TMF. 🙂
Tickling her palms is as effective or perhaps even more effective than tickling her feet! Lots of fun!

My palms are really ticklish too. Although, unlike my feet, they respond more to very light tickles rather than an all out tickle attack.

Make no mistake, palms are sensitive...
Back in camp, when you were sitting on the bus every day, waiting to go home, the girls would relieve their boredom doing, well, little girl stuff...
And one thing they did was tickle each other, and try not to laugh. One of the places was on the forearms, leading to the wrist and the palms. And, boy, did they squirm and jerk, and shut their eyes tightly closed! That's how I found out about the palms...
No, I've never seen anyone laugh out loud, or pull away with force, but..the sensitivity's there. I have found that very softly touching there sends an unmistakeable message! 😎

Thanks to the guys and ladies that have responded
to this thread so far 🙂..Well I stand to be corrected
then for thinking that the palms weren;t ticklish,
I must not be acquainted with those people that DO have
ticklish palms 🙁..Oh wait!,I think I did have some
confessions of palms being ticklish,sensitive from
light touch LOL,I'll have to go back and reread just
who made that comment 😛 .
Well personally my palms aren;t really that sensitive
but I know that when I am tied down on my back with my
arms raised over my head exposing my vulnerable armpits
,that if the tickler lightly flutters his,her fingertips
from the underside of my Elbow all the way up to the edges
of my armpits that I get Goosebumps and start giggling
before those fingertips start teasing,tickling my
armpits 😱

My palms are very ticklish. Most people probably do have ticklish palms, but since there not considered a typical ticklish target, we don't think of them that way. Plus it easier to protect your palms with your own fingers, or by twisting your wrist than it is to protect your feet. I worked w/this one adorable red-head who was ticklish everywhere! One day I was joking around w/her & I started to "read her palm". As soon as I touched her hand, she jerked it away, saying that it tickled.

I ahve to concurr with the genteral consensus

Even tho my hands are not completely baby smooth( as I do work with my hands in an industrial setting when not in University) I Haveto say that my own palms are very ticklish> I have been kissed by significant others onmy palms and broken down in giggles,,,, and it was a sure way to lead to "other activities" too! 😀

I always found this wierd, but the palms of my hands are in fact very ticklish. I dont know why and my girlfriend loves to go after that spot a lot simply based on convenience....😀
