If you are having a bad day look at a Clint Howard pick at least you do not look like him

And which god encourages you to make fun of somebody because of his looks?

I think when Clint Howard is having a bad day he picks up a photo of Princess Diana and thinks "Ah well, at least I didn't die in a car crash with photographers trying to capture my mangled corpse on film for posterity".

Clint Howard's got nothing on the guy from the original UK version of 'The Office'. The guy with the blonde hair whose face looks like a skull wrapped in cellophane.

Clint Howard is Ron Howard's brother. He was a child actor, too. Shortly after Ron got done with 'The Andy Griffith Show', and before the other projects we remember him for, Clint was on 'Gentle Ben', with Dennis Weaver, a show about a boy and his bear.

He's acted in other things too...but he mainly works for his brother, who has been an 'A' list director/producer for quite some time now.

not only that, Clint has been most known for his roles in B-Grade sc-fi and horror flicks like Skeeter, The Wraith, and many others.

Not only that:

Along with Majel Barrett, Joseph Ruskin and Jack Donner, he is one of only four actors to appear in both Star Trek: The Original Series and Star Trek: Enterprise. He, Barrett and Ruskin also appeared in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

In August 2006 Clint Howard reprised his role as Balok in an older, grown up form which was now addicted to tranya in Comedy Central's Roast of William Shatner.

Heard nothing but good thing about his professionalism and as a person. Again, I don't get why you need to knock someone else (especially someone with over 100 movie credits) to feel good about your own self.

That there would be Mackenzie Crook. An unfortunate looking individual if ever there was one. He's bloody funny though.

Don't forget The Ice-Cream Man my friend 😀 One of the best turkeys he was ever in 🙄

Thanks for bringing that up Knox,i had forgotten all about that stupid show until now.😛

I think Clint Howard is one hell of a guy. I'd sure rather knock back a couple of beers with him than with one of those self obsessed Hollywood pretty boys who is always checking himself out in the mirror every few seconds. Clint seems like a genuinely nice person.

I second that! Except Clint defeated a substance abuse problem so we may have to kick back and have some lemonade with him. I would enjoy his accounts of the movies he was involved in.

Hiya all! :bunny:
*laughs* well, i'm sure that's true -thank goodness!!- Though i'm saying that as a girl, right! 😛 :blaugh:

But your comment, ricky, makes me think of something else...
What do you do to help yourself handle your bad day?

For me, one thing that works is to take a deep slow breath and smile - and try to remember the helpful wisdom that "this too shall pass" (okay so sometimes at a -ah- certain time of the month having weeds to tear out of the ground can help too.:blush: )

How about everyone else? Is it okay to ask that on this thread?

Many blessings,
Chickles:redheart:

There have been so many Hollywood rehab stories going around in recent years I must have missed hearing about Clint's substance abuse problem.

I prefer lemonade to beer anyway.

It was one of those 'family' shows, so beloved of the whitebreaded white picket fencers, where everyone can sit around the TV on a Sunday night. Even my dad didn't mind, considering that he thought 'Bonanza' was one of the most moronic shows ever to hit the airwaves, I'm sure thirty minutes of even watching steel balls attached to a string hit each other would've been proper alternative entertainment for him.

There were quite a few figurative 'Lassie' descendents in those days. 'Daktari' was another. A very young Erin Moran was on that one (a fact that would probably start some six degrees of separation thing that would have 'Happy Days' as an anchor, as far as this thread goes).

Yes, Headsnap. Ichabod Crane. MacKenzie Crook. I think they're interchangable.
