how do you NOT guard Robert Horry in the closing seconds of a huge game? i was watching Game 5 between the Spurs and Pistons and Horry went on a rampage in the 4th quarter. if Horry is getting hot, then if it comes down to the final seconds of a close game, you GUARD Robert Horry at ALL costs. Ginobli, bah! Duncan? yeah, right. Parker? the little frenchman would have surrendered. Horry? you send out the National Guard to defend him. the man has made a CAREER out of making big shots in big games. that is one guy i wish the Laker management kept. many a Laker fan LOVE Robert Horry. he is going to be a reason why the Spurs win the title.

My mind was boggled by Rasheed Walace, etc. It looked like bad coaching, but think about all the money there is to be made on 7 games.

I know exactly what you mean prime, I couldn't fathom why they didn't put a body on him. That being said it was a great shot and a fantastic ending to a hard fought game. Should make for an interesting return to San Antonio.

unfortunately, this series wont go seven. the Spurs are really tough when they are ahead. you put pressure on them and they wilt. if Horry wasnt on that team, the Spurs fail miserably. Duncan, Ginobli and Parker all disappeared in the 4th quarter during clutch time. Horry is the only one on that team that has enough balls to fight back.

Rasheed Wallace has to feel stupid. he almost cost them a win by calling timeout when they had none left, but thank goodness time expired. then he leaves Horry open. amazing.....

game 6 should be good because Detroit has the will of a champion. they wont go down easy, but they will nonetheless go down. but then again, if the Spurs fail to beat them in game 6, Detroit might actually win this thing. again, the Spurs seem to have character problems in high stress situations... maybe this Finals isnt boring after all....
