Was just thinking of this today on the way home from college,

1. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

And 2. Where do you think is the worst place to live?

Well for me I'd do ANYTHING to live in Japan or Honololu, and as for the place i think is the worst? Just come over to Virginia, here you got the fantical Jerry Farwell, and during the winter what do we get mostly? Snow you ask? nope, rain maybe? nope......WE GET SLEET AND ICE!!!!!!! and i'm tired of it lol. well everyone hope you enjoy this post

Peace out

Best/Worst Place To Live!

Best Place and Worst Place = Pompeii, Italy. I know all about good ol' Mt. Vesuvius and what it did to Pompeii and another town in A.D. 79, but think of the agricultural advantages. The soil there is rich and fetile thanks to Vesuvius. If the people who survive Vesuvius's eruptions and return time and time againt to rebuild, then you know that the land is worth it no matter what the threat is. If I had my choice in picking any spot on Earth to live, it would be at the base of Mt. Vesuvius in Pompeii, Italy. UNPREDICTABILITY, HERE I COME!

I like china, but i haven't traveled into there yet, so i can't be sure right now. I've traveled into Chile & Uruguay (South-america) and i liked Uruguay, so maybe that place would be good to me too. I don't know many countries, so that would be impossible really to get a good idea about.

I think if I had my choices I would live in a nice brownstone in new York City, or perhaps someplace in New England on the water.

Id like to live near a wooded area,on alot of property with a lake front house where my neighbors are like far away from me. Somewhere in the northern part of lower michigan..say..um..Traverse City.

worst place, Ohio. lmao..okay seriously..wouldnt you think like Somalia, Iraq, Iran, Afganistan, Pakistan..those countries who are always fighting would be a terrible place to live.

Worst place.......I can only think of places I've been to....so I'd say........Huntington, Indiana...it was boring last time I went.

As of dream living location, London, England, Perth, Australia, or Sydney Australia. 😀😀

hey everyone, thanks for replying to this post, its funny to see wwhere people would want to live, and where they wouldnt want to live, thanks agian to EVERYONE

Oh..Shannon..as in Shannon Sharpe..who i wouldnt make fun of cause of his name..i might be big..but hed beat me like a red headed step child. carry on.😀

The best place in the US is probably San Diego, CA, a tolerant and affluent community with excellent weather year round. The best place in the world would be Switzerland (despite the cold winters), which is essentially the freest country on earth.

The worst place in the world to live would be Saudi Arabia, where "fetishes" are capital offenses. The worst places in the US would be the religiously intolerant areas where fetishes are illegal and may result in severe penalties.

Quite honestley, I think the Pacific Northwest is the best place to live in the U.S. I've lived in this area my whole life and I'm never leaving. As far as other countries go, I could live in most places in Europe no problem. Australia would be fun too. I think Canada is also nice.

The worst place to live. Any red state. A bunch of self rightous holy rollers who try desperatly to live in a Norman Rockwell painting and try to tell me what to do with my dick.

Best place? May sound crazy but I wouldn't mind staying right here in NJ. There are absolutely no natural disasters here...the summers get humid but the winter gets some nice snow without being too arctic.
I would love to live in SanFrancisco. I've dreamed of living there for as long as I can remember. There are some Californian laws though that keep me from wanting to raise my family there so, all things considered, NJ is about perfect for me.

Worst place? leaving out the obvious war torn or third world countries I'd say any place that had really extremely hot summers or 9 month long 50degrees below winters.

Best place- UK. I have always dreamed of living there as far back as I can remember (and that's pretty far!). Otherwise, definitely Alaska
Worst place- Any really dry or desert region like Arizona or New Mexico. I hate the hot dry weather and thrive more in a colder snowy environment. I hate Chicago because of many reasons- astronomically high taxes, very prejudiced and biased city, usual crime and over population, usual arrogant crazy "It's all about me!" people in a mad rush to go nowhere, crazy traffic, list goes on.......

I would never live in Chicago but I had a blast when I was forced to stay there for a day due to my train arriving too late to catch the connecting train to NY. I'd love to go back there sometime and revisit the art museum. 😀

the hollywood brother would love to live in the great state of new jersey however the hollywood brother has a thought on this. if we have a dream place and we live there, then what now becomes our dream place?

No need to have one at that point, HB. If you're lucky enough to be totally satisfied with where you live then just consider yourself fortunate and don't worry about pining for something better. Now, granted, my house sucks major amounts of ass and I'd certainly like to move but I live on a killer piece of property and I love being in NJ so I guess Im pretty lucky.

I would live in the same place, but in another state. Namely the Republic of the Great-Netherlands (or Dietschland), finally an end to the Belgian seperatism of 1830. It will only take a few decades until it'll be so far I believe (my prognistics are until over 20 years).

If I could live anywhere in the world, eh? I would live in the moutains looking ove the valley below, in a house chalk full of secret passeges and hidden doors. It would have so many secret doors even I wouldn't be able to find them.

The worst place to live, tornado alley becuase....well..TORNADOES.

Easy question for me! 🙂 (I'm picking only from places i actually traveled to.) Best place: Amsterdam, Holland I fell in love with it many years ago on my first trip to europe. I've thought and talked MANY times about living there.
Worst place: Texas Without a doubt, the most boring place I've ever seen!!🙂

i would love to make a living and live chasing tornadoes, that also is my dream vacation.

the worst place? the first that comes to mind is Russia. bitter cold, and just a bad vibe about the place. 2nd would be thailand or any other of those countries, technologically in-advanced, hotter than hell, and mosquitos big enough to eat small babies. *shivers*

Russia's not as bad as all that. It was lovely when I went. Best place to live, I reckon would be France - decent quality of life, reasonable weather and beautiful countryside. If only my French was better *sigh*. Canada's meant to be nice too.

Worst place is a tough one - anywhere mentioned on www.chavtowns.co.uk is going to be pretty bad, but I'd probably go for Hackney (London), Corby (Northamptonshire), Birmingham (Warwickshire), Manchester or Luton, which the nation voted as the crappest town in the uk. Don't mean to offend anyone here from any of those places, I just wouldn't want to live there.

Aside from the lack of ticklephiles, I'd actually say the best place to live is Washington state. More specifically, western Washington. It actually does have something for a lot of people. It's really warm in the summer and cool in the winter, so fans of warmer or colder weather would be happy. There's a lot of green from trees and grass. There's some nice places by the water for those who love the ocean. I like it.

1...2...

I would live in the original house used in A Nightmare On Elm Street located just off of sunset blvd in L.A. ..not that I would necessarily be thrilled to live near Hollyweird, but come on man, it's Freddy's house!

...one day...

My retirement location is on the Oregon Coast looking out at the Pacific Ocean. Until then I want to see as much as possible 😀

Sheep, eh! Hmmmm.....*singing* If you want to destroy my sweater....

BTW, I have no idea where the best place to live is, but the absolute worst place would have to be any extremely religion heavy town like was already stated. And I would know, I've lived in one, it's horrible! *shudders*
