If you could resurrect then swiftly kill in public (with the entire world watching) ten historical figures WHO would those ten people be?

I'll start:

Dr. H. H. Holmes
Mao Zedong
Jospeh Stalin
Adolf Hitler
Pol Pot
Heinrich Himmler
Ivan IV
Tomás de Torquemada
Idi Amin Dada
Kim Jong-il

Some of those would just have a legion of others to replace them if you look at the historical movements that brought them to power. I think this is a 'great man' (or evil man) vision of history which I don't really subscribe to.

Stalin killed 30 million, but that was after Lenin's terrible reign which 3 miilllion died, at which point Trotsky disassociated himself from communism. As for Torquemada, he was a practitioner, but the ideology behind the inquistion can largely be attributed to the authors of the Malleus Maleficarium, Kramer and Sprenger.

Hitler again was a figurehead for a fascist movement that could've made any of the others such as Donitz the Fuhrer, given the aim was 1000 years of Nazi rule.

Kim Jong-il was never really head of state; that title belongs still to his dead father. The state of North Korea is effectively a Necrocracy.

I'm not sure if there is anyone i'd want to kill, but the world could've done without Kramer and Sprenger for the horrors of the inquisition.

Adolf Hitler (I would kill him with a drug overdose, blind stabbing or rally a group consisting of all the types of people he killed and together he would be properly punished for his evil and malicious murder practices against everyone who didn't fit his screwed up cookie cutter mold!!!!

beyond Hitler, I can't really think of anyone I'd want to resurrect then kill
