Go and see Kill Bill!

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet or not, but seriously Kill Bill is not only a masterpiece of a movie, it includes some of the most blatant foot fetishism I think that has ever been put to the big screen.

The rumours that Tarantino has a foot fetish are confirmed now. There is an entire seen focused on Uma Thurman's bare souls, and then her toes... and then you get scenes with Lucy Lui (very attractive japanese actress) walking around in a white kimono with white socks on and it keeps cutting to her feet dangling out of her slip on shoes. In one scene she takes her shoes off and walks in the snow in her white socks and the camera focuses on her feet for what basically seems like a very long time to be more than just.... coincidence!

I've been trying to convince people of this for ages! So glad I'm not going mad! (Well, that's debatable).

Other Tarantino movie foot scenes are in: Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Dusk till Dawn.

Anybody able to name any more? (Then I can get the DVD's!)

i watched it twice at the cinema, first time i thought i was my imagination, second time i'd recently seen some of the films mentioned above, and its no coincidence!! theres a film director among us foot fans - lets hope theres a long tickle interrogation scene inserted onto the DVD or maybe even Kill Bill Volume II

Well Uma Thurmans feet were not what done it for me, it was the site of Lucy Lui's feet in those white socks!

But seriously though, its blatant. Even scenes like (warning: Spoiler) where Go-Go (a young japanese female body guard dressed as a schoolgirl) gets beaten by thurman's character, she just happens to stab her in her foot (and you see this vividly) before killing her with a blow to the head. It's all just quite the underlying tone that's all.

There are many examples of foot fetishism in mainstream, on movie, TV until on radio (Howard Stern by sample). I remember Hannah Barbera toons, enough foot fetish matterial. I watched a Venezuelan TV program that talk about of Movies and directors, and a day they spoken on this theme, they mentioned a director and tell specificly that he had a foot fetish (I don't remember what director was, but he didn't Tarantino). Really exists many samples of it.

Uma's toes - yuck!!

Wish Pam Anderson or someone with at least half-way decent feet and toes were in her place. When they closed in on those things, the audience almost collectively hurled... man they're atrocious. She seems like a nice gal though 😀

Bad film?

Hey Squirmer30, I'm interested to hear why you thought it was a bad film?

Kill Bill has had such mixed press, mostly positive though. Personally I cannot make up my mind if I thought it was a great movie or one that was very imature and, well, basically cold hearted violence with no substance.

When tarantino directed an episode of ER....he was sure to get ina foot shot of nurse hathaway and Dr. Lewis....the 2 women were sunbathing and the camera was right at their feet getting a full sole shot.
Its so obvious tthat he has a foot fetish
