This past weekend I had a chance to watch Wrestlemania XXIV on DVD and I hate to admit it but I I just didn't think it had a lot to it.
First of all the Citrus Bowl looked great, I love how they did it up for the event, memo to the WWE, more outdoor venues and desireable locations like Orlando, I know they can't do places like that all the time, but it would be nice to mix'em in once and a while.
Kim Kardashian I had no problem with, I could look at her all day
, her bit as "Hostess of Wrestlemania" I could've taken or left.
The only thing I had a problem with was the fact that the matches seemed rushed. Outside of Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels and TLC, it seemed like they were trying to get through as fast as possible, I expected Batista vs. Umaga to be this epic clash and they just kinda "did it" for lack of a better word.
Sugestions for next year:
1. If your gonna do the hostess thing again, give her a bigger role. Let her do some ring intros or something like that.
2. Don't go with matches like Batista vs. Umaga if your not going to turn them loose.
3. You have three brand WWE, USE THEM! Don't let one brand monopolize the whole event. (RAW 3 matches, Smackdown! 1, ECW 1 match not even worth mentioning, 2 interpromotional matches, 1 gimmick match)
