I'm surprised none of you are into cyber tickling

I can't imagine that someone would like or even love cyber tickling. I would consider it as a last resort for most or even just a momentary, easy solution for those who can't do the actual thing.

I don't like cyber tickling because I think its a waste of time, plain and simple. If you like it, more power to you, just not my interest.

Cybertickling can be fun for those with an active imagination. I like to write tickling stories here, so it would be fun to cybertickle someone with an equally active imagination and writing ability. Might even make an awesome story out of it.

...but that never happens. So it's just a worthless thing to do.

Actually, I tend to like cybertickling, though I don't do it that often anymore. In fact, I can't even remember the last time I did it. I still like it. I just don't have the opportunity to do it that much anymore.

And yes, you are right. Cybertickling doesn't tend to be very popular here at TMF. Some people here like it, but for the most part, the members tend to take a disparaging view of it. They look at it as a lame practice, something done only by the sick and desperate. (I'm paraphrasing what I've heard other members say.)

However, since you like cybertickling, as I tend to, perhaps you would feel more at home over at TickleTheater. Don't get me wrong---I'm not trying to drive you away or anything! 🙂 It's just the members over there seem to be more interested in cybertickling. In fact, they even have a popular thread titled "The Official Tickle Fight Thread." At least, they did when I was still an active poster there. I have drifted away from those boards, but when I was still active there, that thread was there and was popular with the members.

And just a friendly note to those who label people who enjoy cybertickling (in one form or another) as hopeless, silly, pathetic, desperate, etc.: Not everyone has a whole slew of 'lees and/or 'lers lined up ready to engage in actual tickling with them at any time of the day or night. In fact, some people are probably still looking for a way to "come out of the closet" with their tickling fetishes/fixations/etc. As a result, they see online play as a safe outlet for their feelings until they can come out with it all. I'm sure that everyone would prefer actual tickling to cybering, but sometimes the latter is all you can get. So...you might want to keep that in mind.

I've done it, and I agree, with the right creative writer it's incredible 😀
And an easier, safer, & more convenient "outlet" as indivision mentioned as well, for many reasons

If reading stories---
of the exquisitely detailed ~over-stimulation of
various sensitive, helpless curves, nooks, buttons, or stretched taut skin
wiggling, shivering, squirming, & bouncing to a wide(r)-ranging litany of deliciously, thoroughly tickled sound effects
laughing, giggling, squealing & shrieking
with varied verbal reactions pleading, offering, begging and promising
to mocking, taunting, teasing and tormenting
---causes your gut to tighten to any degree

then you might enjoy cyber tickling

Now imagine having that conversation (hypothetically, times 12) with some of the greatest writers in this forum....

Engaging in a cyber-tickling scenario can be nice.....when it's done once in a very great while, and you're doing it with somone who can be far more descriptive and imaginative than just typing responses like 'tee-hee' or 'that tickles.' Someone who can truly describe how they'd react and move or laugh (without a great deal of "HA-HA's" and the like...) can help plant a rather nice visual which can enhance a fantasy that you may not have yet lived out. Again...depends on the engagement that takes place and who's sharing it with you.

Of course...the real thing is just that....can't be beaten or replaced.

I've thought more than once that I prefer the thought of tickling to actual tickling. Being "into" cyber-tickling seems to overlap a fair amount with being "into" tickling stories, and a fair amount of us seem to fall into that category.

i've cyber tickled before, but i have to be in the mood for it...and my fellow cyber ler has to be good with words and typing because if you're not creative it gets boring really quickly and i lose interest. it is a safer and more convenient outlet for a tickle session, but it doesnt quite have the same effect IMO.
