I've noticed that there has been quite a lot of #1 QB injuries this season.
Sometimes that leads to the backup QB stepping up and performing like Hill (DET) and Kitna (DAL). Most of the time it's more like Collins (CHI) throwing four interceptions.
The more I think about this trend; the more it makes me think having two alright quarterbacks might be more beneficial to a team than say if you have one star QB who gets knocked out only to be replaced by a scrub.
I'm not trying to say that a team should switch between two QBs like Philly did last year. There should be a clear cut decision on who's in the number one spot. The number two position has the potential of being just as important as number one in certain circumstances.
