I figured since Owen would have turned 40 on the 7th of May 2005, it was time to take a step back, and remember this man for what and who he was; a spectacular wrestler, and even better human being. I still find myself thinking about his tragic death every now and then, unable to escape the fact that it just wasn't fair. It wasn't his time, not like that, not that way. He deserved more, he really did. I remember how I felt as I watched it on TV, time stood still for what seemed like an eternity. I also remember how I felt the next night on monday night RAW, when the wrestlers were talking about what owen meant to them....I cried all night. I felt the burn inside as I wondered how, or why something like this could have been allowed to happen. I'll never forget that night.
Here is a very good article called "what do we know now?" that tells of the events leading up to and surrounding owens death.

Owen Hart was a good man, I will never forget what he gave to me personally, and what he gave to us wrestling fans.
May you rest in eternal peace, Owen. We haven't forgotten you. I can see you in heaven, looking down upon the children of yours that were left behind. I hope to see you again someday, somehow.
RIP Owen Hart
