Billy Bob, who made a huge profit in the furniture business last year, treated himself to a vacation in Paris. He had previously never traveled more that 100 miles from his native Biloxi.
When he got back home, he was telling his friend Bobby Joe about the trip.
"And this beautiful young woman came in to the cafe and took the only vacant seat at the bar, the seat next to me. I spoke to her but she answered in French, she didn't understand a word I said and I don't speak a word of French. So I picked up a napkin from the bar, drew a wine glass on it, and held it up to her. She smiled and nodded, so I ordered two glasses of champagne.
"After we drank the champagne, I drew a couple dancing on another napkin. She smiled again so we went to the dance floor.
"When we had danced for about half an hour, we went back to the bar and I drew a dinner plate with a knife, fork, and spoon on another napkin. She smiled again and led me to a nearby restaurant.
"We had a fine dinner, even though we couldn't talk to each other. The food there is unbelievable. But here's what I don't understand.
"At the restaurant, after we ate dessert, she took a piece of paper out of her purse and drew a four-posted bed on it. How did she know that I'm in the furniture business?"
