You mean Vince Russo... the guy who gave us David Arquette, World Champion, in WCW, among other things. I'd suspect this was just more of Russo's hot air. Bischoff would have to be extremely stupid to give up his McMahon paycheck to go to NWA-TNA.
Sable is, of course, still on Smackdown. Piper showed up in NWA-TNA a couple of times to ramble incomprehensibly and not wrestle.
I don't really watch NWA-TNA as much as I should. They've got some really good wrestlers who will probably never make it in McMahonland because they don't fit Vince's idea of what a wrestler should look like -- A.J. Styles, Christopher Daniels, Kid Kash, Lo-Ki, Chris Sabin, Frankie Kazarian, etc. (If Vince DID happen to sign 'em, they'd just be used as jobbers, like Spanky and Paul London.) And it's nice seeing Raven actually motivated again after his dismal tenure in WWE. But still, the quality of their shows isn't reliable enough for me to do more than tune in occasionally.
