"coming out" isnt always an easy thing to do, well its rarely easy to be honest. but is it easier to come out to men or women?
and is it easier for a man or woman to come out?
i can see a few guys being ok with it, just a bit jokey, but i can certainly see most guys going too far with the jokes. from my experience, its easier to out to women. my old mates never accepted me for it.
and i always think that life has a simple formula:
"what is cute or a woman is weird for a guy, and vise versa"
so basically, its cute for a woman to want to be tickled, but weird for a guy, at least thats my thinking.

"Coming out"....first thing I thought was "coming out of the closet". Now that's serious! It's a lifestyle choice. Tickling is a kinky thing we like to do in the bedroom. No biggie.

I'd say it all depends on who they're telling and the dynamics of the relationship. In a relationship where the woman has more "control" she has the upperhand....in a relationship where the guy has more control he has the upperhand. The person in control is the one that fears loss of their partner the most.

i can see your thinking here, but it is surprising how many people think its weird to like to be tickled. and it is incredibly hard to get tickled, well it is if you are a guy. with tickling someone, you can simply sneak a poke or stroke here or there, being tickled is not something you can simply initiate.

If Brad Pitt liked tickling...what woman would call him a"freak/weirdo/pervert/stalker"? No one. Think about all the celebrities that are caught doing kinky stuff...do you think they have a problem letting women know what they like? R Kelly....Mr Golden shower himself can always find new girls to have fun with.

Obese weird ugly girl down the street however would have trouble finding a guy that would indulge her.

These are extreme examples to prove a point. It's all about "OPTIONS" and desirability. People that are desired more have more options and therefore have less trouble keeping a mate regardless of their fetish. Guys don't have to be celebrities for this to happen. He just has to be desirable. If he is desirable, women will bend over backward for them.

However.....there ARE....and this is the fault of society....more desirable women out there than men. This is due to many things: society's holding female beauty in high regard, men not compteting as much in acedamia, higher female population, women trying harder to meet that beauty standard ect. The men that do fit women's loftier standards however are in HIGH demand and therefore can leave a relationship knowing there are more quality women out there that will cater to his kinks. She sensing this will go along with it.


I guess I agree with most people here that say women in general have it easier. I just had to bring up the exception...which is pretty prevalent. Everyone knows that ONE guy that gets away with everything with the ladies...and always has them around.

A good looking guy will beat a good looking girl in quality....a good looking girl will always beat a good looking guy in quantity.

hmm, i personally find it sad that so many feel unable to be themselves, open and honest about tickling. if your friends don't like it or find it unacceptable, are they really your friends??? some of it is in how it's presented as well. telling someone you're into tickling vs. that you have a tickling fetish are very different. just because tickling may be a turn-on for you, a true fetish means that are only sexually aroused by that thing and can only orgasm with it present. unless this is true for you (which i doubt is true in most cases), then tickling isn't really any different than anything else that turns people on -- looks, personality, dress, cologne, sense of humor, massage, intelligence, brushing someone's hair, flirting, etc.

anyway, i suspect that it's equally easy for women to come out as a ticklee or tickler and easier for men to come out as a tickler than a ticklee. tickling seems to be a more "feminized behavior" in the sense that it's more socially acceptable for a woman to giggle and lose/give up control than it is for a man. it's a sad commentary on our society when such mores exist. i say find the communities, not just the fetish communities, where such mores don't provide such restrictions on men or on what's acceptable behavior. there are more open and accepting communities than just the fetish community, although the fetish/kink community is wonderful. there's nothing quite like being in a community where your proclivities, whatever they may be, are acknowledged and accepted, especially by yourself.
