Best regular season record in the NBA......Dallas knocked out in the first round......

Quick....put Dallas owner Mark Cuban in a padded cell.....

i`m sure after he wipes away the tears with some hundred dollar bills he`ll be ok 😉

Can't speak for Cuban, but most of us here in Dallas feel like filling the bathtub with warm water right about now.

It seems like no matter what we do, we just can't win a championship. I guess it's just fate. We just are not meant to win a championship. We are kinda used to the disappointment, sadly.

how did this come about?

Does anyone understand the exact scenario that led Dallas to play Golden State in the First round series? I heard that Dallas intentionally benched its starters during the last game of the season in order to affect who Dallas would play in the first round of the playoffs, and it seems that strategy came back to bite them in the ass?

They started to sit players after they locked up the number one seed.

Yea, it really fucking sucks. The better team won, as far as I'm concerned. If the Mavericks were anywhere near the level that everyone thought they were, we would have swept golden state.

I don't think we will get anywhere, as long as we stay committed to Dirk. The man is past his peak, and he can't get it done when it really matters. Josh Howard is the real star on this team, as far as I'm concerned.

I think people are getting a little carried away with this. Dirk is one of two candidates for the MVP award. They were a disappointment in that series but that team can win a championship just the way it is. It's the same team that made it to the finals last year. I understand that Dirk is the MVP of that team, but they got their asses whipped and it all can't be blamed on Dirk.

Now i dont feel so bad about my Lakers. The Lakers were supposed to lose. Dallas straight CHOKED. I am really surprised....wow, how are the Mavericks going to recover from this? I guess this sends a message that ANYTHING can happen in the playoffs....

Yeah, but I think that Dallas fans are getting a little tired of Nowiztki turning into a "no show" when it really counts.....

Miami shut Dirk down in the final game, IN DALLAS, last year, and I heard he had only 8 points in the last playoff game of this season, so I can see Dallas fans getting a little tired of Nowitzki's meltdowns when they really need him....especially when they are supposed to be serious championship contenders....

Exactly. He just can't get it done when it REALLY matters. Thats what separates the good from the great.

I really can't explain what happen, but my out look is G.S. just had the right ingrediance to play against the Mavs.. I believe if it would have been any other team except maybe the Suns, the Mavs would have won.. Spurs are close but i think the Mavs could have beat them
