Does it tickle? Yes. Is it manageable? Also yes. I, personally, am not a huge fan of pedicures. I might get one at the start of the summer or before an event or something, mainly for the novelty of it. I've found I can do a similar job myself and save $35 but if finances aren't an issue then go for it. It's a nice, easy, way to treat yourself. I'm not sure if you can work on the nail issue thing since that is a big part of getting them "cleaned up" but you can tell them not to do anything with your nails. Totally your call. You can also warn them that you're ticklish if you are that concerned about it, but I don't think it's necessary - they're used to it. As much as our community likes to sub-fetishize the pedicure tickling thing, whether intentionally or not, I promise they are not focusing on it, like we tend to do. They are just doing their job and are not trying to tickle/make you uncomfortable to the point where you can't receive the service you are paying for. And always tip well 🙂 the service industry was hit hard.
