First a little back ground information.

Ive been tickling my aunts feet for years. Ever since she came to live with us. For a couple of years i would smell her shoes without her finding out. And i dont really know how it got started with the tickling but im happy i get to do it. (tickling her for 9years)Im 23, She's in her early 40s and has nice feet. I dont tickle her too hard just sometimes I do dig into her soles, and she would laugh her head off. She isnt too ticklish id say about a 6 or 7 on a 10 scale. Just recently ive noticed that she sometimes doesnt laugh even when i do dig into her feet and im really trying to make her laugh. I think her *weak spot* is up under her toes. About a month ago Ive started to use lotion on her feet and she did say the lotion made it tickle more. Just the other day i added the lotion and let my finger do some digging and NOTHING! She didnt laugh at all. I even used the sonic toothbrush but she never laughs when i use that and use it all over her feet.

I am using too much lotion? Is there souch a thing?

So i ask you the expert ticklers of the community what should i do?
What else can I use when the best weapons have been usless?

First, welcome to the TMF.

Perhaps a life long ticklee such as myself can offer some insight. I can build a resistance to being tickled when the tickler tickles in the same way over a period of time. For example, my feet are mega ticklish when they are fresh out of the shoes, but after a few moments of tickling, I'm able to get a handle on it and it becomes more like simple scratching than tickling.

The best advice i can offer is to not stick to what you think of as her hot spots, but change it up. If she can accurately anticipate what you're going to do, she can mentally prepare for it. If you keep her guessing as to what's going to come next, she'll feel more uncertain, more vulnerable, and hence, more ticklish.

After reading your post it left me thinking about something. I usually tickle her feet when she's in her sandels around the house and most of the time they are slightly cold. So I decided to try and tickle her feet fresh out of shoes.

The second I got to tickle her she let out a quick hard laugh that only happens when she gets rolling in laughter. I quickly went for the lotion and boy did she get a good 10min tickling that left her begging for me to stop.

Thanks for your input Drew
