With the Lakers repeat as NBA champs, Phil Jackson's fifth title as Laker coach, and 11th as a coach overall, what's the consensus? Do forum members think he will retire, or will he return to chase another "Threepeat", which he has done twice before, and his sixth title with the Lakers?

My vote to this question is that he won't retire, and will return to coach the Lakers for at least 2010-2011. Earlier in the season, I was almost certain from Jackson's comments that this would be his last year, whether it be championship or bust. I just watched his postgame comments after last night's title win, as he was talking to Hannah Storm, and Jackson said the lure of another "Three peat" is tempting. I think that if his medical conditions allow, Phil might coach as many as another two years, to try for a four-peat, something he's not yet done, and is very difficult to accomplish.
