Is there a doctor in the house? ( serious question for doctors/ nurses on the forum)

Ok, this is begining to worry me. For the past 2 weeks, I've had bad allergy problems. That's slowly getting better, but what isn't getting better is a pain in my back. Right above the waist. If I'm sitting down its fine, but anything else and it gets to be unbearable. I was wondering if anyone in the medical profession on the site had any advice.

Unfortunately, I don't think any health professional can (or should) help you over the internet. This is mostly for your safety because:

• You can't confirm the credentials of the person giving the advice.
  
• Your medical history should remain private.
  
• There is a HUGE potential for misdiagnoses due to the fact that one cannot get the whole picture from a distance. No one can feel for tenderness or abnormalities through the net, or to confirm whether or not there is any spinal injuries without X-Rays or C-Arm, or prescribe medication without documentation.
