Is this person likely to be ticklish enough for a video shoot

Hi All,

This is a very vague thread to answer, but I hope some people will give me their opinions on whether it would be a good idea to shoot a tickling video with such a model: -

In answer to the following question: -

1) How ticklish are you?
2) On a scale of 1-10 (where 10 is very ticklish), how ticklish are you in the following places: -

a. Feet
b. Under Arms
c. Waist

She is quite beautiful and open to doing a 3 hour tickling shoot, which is costing about £150 ($210) + my travelling expenses which add about another £50 ($70) into the equation.

She is very willing, enthusiastic, but her husband will be present at the shoot. Do I do it? Is she going to be ticklish enough? Am I paying too much?

Thought on the back of a postcard would be welcome.

If she's telling the truth then why not? Her husband will be there for liability reaons most likely as well as to oversee nothing other than the tickling happens. Just a precaution mainly.

I think she sounds ticklish, and 8 and a 9 is pretty high. And bringing an escort with you to a shoot is very normal, as long as they don't interfere. Hope you get an awesome shoot!

200 quid is a fair amount of cash to throw spend on such a thing, but its a big win if you think about it longterm. You'll pay for it once but sell it forever,its a safe bet that eventually it will pay for its self and on top of that you've just tickled a hot girl for a few hours and got it on tape from every angle you wanted.

I hope that it is good enough to pay for itself. So long as it makes something - even $100, it at least subsidises my tickling adventures.

£200 squid is a LOT of money to throw at anything, if it is not going to work. I would have liked her to be off the charts ticklish, but 7, 8 and 9 is not that bad, and I wonder if her being ticklish, and sometimes very ticklish, means that she is ticklish for a normal tickler and very ticklish for a good tickler.

We'll see. There's only one way to see how these things work, and that is to just do it. I've been scared to do this for literally years, so we'll see.

I hope I can produce something that people will enjoy.

The "Scale-Question", as I call it, is not a very smart question to ask!! How would you measure that? Everybody has their own scale! What I consider very ticklish might not be what everybody else considers very ticklish! I might rate my most ticklish spot a 10! For someone who just saw a couple of exaggerated clips, it might only be a five!

We are not talking about degrees Fahrenheit here, ticklishness is very very relative! 🙂

As for an escort during a shoot - yes, that is normal. But it is usually NOT the husband or boyfriend, that is really unusual!

I second that! Take somebody with you! Very important!! Also avoids the possibility that someone accuses you of sexual assault or stuff like that afterwards!

Agreed, it is scary. It's a shoot in London, and i'm in North East.

To complicate matters I have been given a cottage for the weekend in Yorkshire. So, I drive to Yorkshire on Friday, then to London at 4am on Saturday morning, for a 3 hour shoot (in her own home, which is accommodating), then drive back. 10 hours driving.

Worst thing. I need to be in the cottage for some work, but it's too short notice for any of my pals to come join me. So i'll be alone.

Soooo, if anyone wants to stay in my holiday cottage in Yorkshire which sleeps 8 people, and talk about tickling. Let me know.

I would be up for arranging a munch there. But too short notice I expect??

Rather than using a scale (I agree it's relative and not useful) - maybe asking an open ended question like:

Describe your reactions to being tickled (in various spots).
Describe your laughter while being tickled
Why do you want to do the shoot?

Those might help you judge the potential model a bit better?

As for the husband...I don't find it unusual. Maybe a bit awkward, depending on the guy, but I took mine with me on 3 out of the 4 that I did. And would insist on him being there for any future shoots with a new producer.

As for paying too much, I really don't know. Don't know the currency conversion, lol, and you can't say what is "too much" until you see how much income the video generates. If you pay a model 100.00 and the video makes 150.00...you overpaid. If the video makes 1000.00 - that is a very different picture.

That is why you do the contract before the shoot, provided the contract is legally valid. Although contract law may be different in the UK. Something to look into in any case.

You know - I am from the school which says that a Gentleman's agreement is how to do business.

It's how I like to work in my non-tickling life.

But it would be just my luck to have this come and bite me later. I will explore contracts etc.

Some sort of contract has to be written up before any money is handed over. I know I've recently read here about a producer who made clips with a girl who didn't sign a release form, who a few months down the line started making some pretty big demands with a "if you dont like it,you have to take my clips down" type attitude.

Also, it might be no more than paranoia, but do you know anything about this girl? Have you been given references or read feedbacl on her profile which suggests she's done this before? Everyones out for a quick $$$ and a guy in an unknown part of the country with valuable equipment,cash and even a car would be in my opinion atleast - ideal for doing over.

lol one way to know if a girl is ticklish is if she admits to tickling herself accidentally.

We have a contract as such, from words and discussions and obviously I would get her to sign a release form.

But I think it would be more professional and sensible to draw up a contract and terms of understanding that would stand up in court - although if it ever came the possibility of a court case, I would NOT fight it.

I would not want to be "TICKLING MAN in court!" in one of the UKs seedy newspapers.

So from that point of view, I'm not sure if a watertight contract is needed, cos if the model ever started to kick up a fuss, I would back down and cede to her demands immediately. Life is too short for such trouble.

However, I am scared about the possible accusations of sexual assault, and of being sued down the line if she later regrets the decision to be in a tickling film.

And since I have business interests outside of tickling, I might regretfully put my tickling ambitions on hold for a few weeks until I am confident of finding the right model and getting the legal situation perfect.

All of this trouble over a bit of tickling heh?

Well, I don't know how it is in the UK, but in Germany if you produce and sell clips, it is considered income! So you would have to declare it with your taxes.

Plus, you will be in the videos, right? How can you guarantee you are not identified by someone who happens to see a clip and knows you well?

Maybe it is unusual - I only have my own experiences to draw on, lol. However, it would be a huge red flag for me.

That said, if your gut is telling you that something isn't right there is no harm in waiting for a better situation.
