I have never been more happy about a college football game than today. I watched the Cyclones defeat the cornhuskers, and I couldn't be more happy!!! I heard that someone associated with nebraska said that every team needs an Iowa State to use for confidence building. Hows that confidence now nebraska?!?! I wonder how confident they will be against Oklahoma in a couple weeks

Destroyed??? 9-7 is destroyed??? Please do us all a favor and know what you are talking about BEFORE you post.

Seattle beating Jacksonville 41-0 is destroyed. 9-7 is not being destroyed.

P.S. I am NOT a fan of Nebraska and know nobody who is. I believe that you need to be accurate in your defination of destroy.

But when you have a team talking about how they are going to run all over another team, and then they get BEAT... especially when our starting QB is out, our starting (and conference leading) running back is out, and another one of our starters is out... And nebraska was ranked in the top 30 (iowa state is nowhere close). All of that added together is a crushing. nebraska talked the talk and obviously couldn't walk the walk!

Now if you want to see complete annihilation, watch nebraska play Oklahoma in a couple weeks.

It is still NOT an accurate portrayal. When any team wins 9-7 regardless of talking or whatever it is not a destruction or a crushing.

It sounds more like you who believed with all those players out that you expected them to lose.

Sometimes people forget that bench players can be good given an opportunity. But it was NOT a destruction or a crushing. When you say that, you are going way over the top. Not when a FG can beat you. That is NOT a destruction.
