so i got a pedicure for my birthday. (it was fabulous, by the way).
i went with a girl friend of mine that i hadn't gone with before - on our way out of my apartment she invited my now ex gf to come with, who refused. i said "she's too ticklish" and my friend said "oh i am too, you don't even know".
i didn't know but i found out. when the woman used the pumice on my foot i thought "oh! it really does tickle this time!" and i was too embarrassed to react so i sat very still.
my friend, however, immediately burst into a peal of laughter and began rocking back and forth in her chair. she said "no it's ok, just on the insi--" she didn't finish, she cracked up again.
i laughed, the 2 pedicurists laughed, and the lady drying her mani in the fan laughed. my pedicurist pointed to that lady and said "ticklish! yes her too!" and the lady nodded and said "just try not to think about it!!"
all the while my friend was laughing and covering her mouth and shaking around while the guy scrubbed her foot.
then he did the other side.
i blushed and laughed and tried to support my friend, who was super embarrassed, all the while thinking "WOW i didn't even know this really happened!" it was pretty cool, as far as public tickles go. it went on for probably 2 or 3 minutes, the pedicurist was not about to skimp out over a little laughter, i guess. i appreciated it.
