I turned 21 the day before thanksgiving... I didn't eat any of the delicious spread that my family cooked the next day. Just sat at the table for about one minute, said grace, apologized and ran to the bathroom. Don't do that. Drink responsibly, have a driver and try to have people with you who DISCOURAGE you from doing embarrassing things not ENCOURAGE you like my friends did!!!

Happy birthday babe! It's a whole new world open to you now. THe only big step that happens from here on out is having lower car insurance and renting a car... whoop dee doo... so enjoy it!

I'm back safe and sound. Me and my Dad and my Mom and my older brother Rick just hit two bars (one while we were playing some pool at this fancy cleaner pool hall and night club) and another bar/eating place for some dinner.


I had my first booze ever in my entire life tonight!!!!! I had a spritser (or however the heck you say it) it has Rum in it. its kinda like a cream soda

It was pretty yummie tasteing 🙂 and then after we played some pool for awhile then we went to that other bar to eat dinner and open presents and what not. oh and watch the Sonics vs. the Blazers game on this giant huge butt tv screen that was high above the celing in the place that we were all at 😀 and the Blazers won so that was good.

So over all it was a nice night out with close family. Since i don't see both my older brothers that much anymore (with one living far far away in Michgan) and the other one living close to our house but he is always busy living the fast life.

I had a HUGE group of friends in college and when one of us turned 21 it was a ritual to bring a pad of paper along and have them sign their name and write the name of the shot on it as they went... we would then frame it and give the list as a gift... I still have mine. 17 shots... ouch.

Ouch! Hope you didn't get knocked up and fall off the ship from all the booze you must have drank. 21 minutes of tickling? nice nice 😉 But sadly me and girls don't see eye to eye in other words. ps. seems like i lost all my signature pictures on here (since me and my dad finally after months and months re-installed Windows xp home edition back onto our computer.... so the computer is like brand new again fresh and clean which we're happy about after so many many problems it was having...)

Three times in the past I removed a signature that you use that contained an image or file that was far too large, and thus very very unfriendly to dial up users. Each time I replaced the removed code with a warning and asked you to look at the rules forum for proper signature sizes.

Two days ago you posted a sig that was not only huge in size (at least a meg) it also caused many users system to hang or open up other programs in an attempt to veiw it.

So as a fourth violation, I came to the conclusion that you have chosen to ignore this forum rule designed to make the forum usable for members with slower connetions. Since you chose to ignore the rule, I have chosen to enforce it with the elegent solution of removing your ability to have a sig. Solves it rather neatly.

Drop me a line on January 2nd 2005 and I'll restore the privledge. If you use it right after that point you'll not loose it again.

Also I hope you had a nice bithday.

It seems you have some questions about TMF policy allow me to answer them.

I would have re-sized and fixed the signature pictures but for one i don't know how to that well. I always get confused on it.

If a image is bigger then the specified size, or larger then 100k then not posting it seems simple to do. No special skill needed. Your third violation was posting of an image that was over the file size rule and the 100k limit was specified in the warning that replaced your sig image. The next sig you posted was a video that was over a meg (and closer to 2). It seems like a fairly large oversight to have posted such a huge violation with the warning right there.

And if the opinion for people is open for them not to be able to see avatar and signature pictures where they have a box in thier profile settings where they can just click on that so they won't have to deal with the crap anymore (dial up users i mean) with reguards to signatures.

Because many users enjoy seeing the signatures and like to be able to see the links that people put there. So we strike a balance between allowing sigs and keeping them a reasonable size. Users on slow connections should be able to enjoy the sigs too. This is why we have the size rules.

Then why do you still disable peoples signature ability?

We disable the ability to post sigs when the privledge is abused, it has happened three times in the forums four years Twice for users that used thier sigs to attack other people, and once for you due to abuse of the size rule. It's not a policy that has had to been enforced all that often over the 13,000+ users we have.

That is really gay and stupid.

We feel that the policy is the opposite of stupid, and in fact is rather effective, it allows the majority of the forum membership to enjoy one of it's features, in this case signatures, which are well liked. I'm unsure how a sexual prefrence relates to the topic. Are you implying that being 'gay' is somehow a negative?

I'm regretful if this event has made your birthday a less positive one. I still hope that the rest of the events around the day were positive for you.
