Someone can help me? I've lost almost all my tickling archive, expecially the frenchtickling clips. I don't understand why, but now, when I try to open some FT links here in the forum, it always doesn't work. I'd like to recover at least the best clips, like, for example, everything about Lena. I'm not an expert, someone can tell me what could be happened? Did anyone have the same problem?

Color me somewhat confused: is this archive on the internet or files on your computer? And how do you mean FT links in the forum? Examples requested.

They are files on my computer in wmv. I've made the example of Frenchtickling because the great part of the files I've lost (in the sense that they don't work anymore) are from this website.
So, initially I thought that the problem was on my computer, but when I come here and try to open an old frenchtickling link trying to recover something, (for example, http://www.frenchtickling.com/clip/LenaFree.wmv) it always doesn't work.

The files are likely gone from the website due to their removal by the webmaster/owner. This could be for any number of reasons; cleaning house, restructuring, and so on. I am curious as to how files would stop working on your computer. Tell me, how large are these files, byte-wise? Right-click on one and select "Properties". What does it say for file size there? If the size is very low (less than 100 KB) then I suspect what you saved were not, in fact, video clips; what you saved were files that pointed to the clips on the websites of the producers and caused the clip to be downloaded whenever you opened that file on your computer.

When you say "don't work anymore", how so? Do you receive an error message? Does it just not play?

I fear you are right; I've told I'm not an expert...
But in this case what can I do?
When I try to open a file on my computer it says: "impossible to find the file"; but I don't understand why it doesn't happen with everyone; there are files working saved in the same page and format. If it could be damaged, probably no one should be working... or not?
Instead, when I try to open a link on TMF - but only the old links expecially about frenchtickling, like in the example I've made above - two things happens: it opens the main page of frenchtickling, but the actual one, or, if I try to save it without open it, it says: "Impossible to download the file. Impossible to open the website, try again later". And of course it's always the same.
There's something I can't understand: if you shuold be right saying that what I've saved are not videoclips but only files pointing to the website (and I think you are), and in this case the problem is only mine, why can't I open the same links here in the forum?

I am not sure how this happened to you. I suspect you simply had the bad luck to save files that weren't full clips but rather links pointing to clips online. The reason links on the TMF don't work either is because the files(s) are gone from the website they were on (Frenchtickling, in this case). Neither a link online or a file linked to them on your hard drive will work.

Thank you. I think you are right, unfortunately; so, it's my fault.:cry1:
I'm looking in the request section trying to recover how much I can.
If I should do some requests, could they stay for a long time? I hope to recover at least the best files I had, not all together, of course, but even in a long time. I understand something could be reposted; I'm sorry, but I don't know what else I can do. I'll see carefully through the whole section before to advance a request. I hope the forumers could help me.
Thank you for your attention and patience; you'd been very careful. :wavingguy

If by "could they stay for a long time?" you mean remain in the forum then the answer is simple: requests posted, provided they aren't for paysite material or material of producers who do not want their material posted, are never deleted. Your request will stay up from the moment you post it onward. 🙂
