Java Trouble Day 4

Hi,
Well I heard back from HDS last night so I did what he recomemned
and tried downloading the last Java application to my PC.
A new error poped up when I was in the java set up and in the copying files portion of the download.

The new error read:
Error 1606 could not access network http://java sun.com/download/get file/1.6 0...02 b06/windows-i586/ja 1600000.cnd (or something like that.

And then I was brought back to the download explaination page where it said to look for a yello box and click on to download an active control device to contince with my download if I chose.

I can't even download it....It starts and then a window pops up that says I have to verify it with windows......WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?!?!?!

If the automated download is not working you can try the manual way. Visit http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp#win and click on "Windows XP/Vista/2000/2003 Offline *". This should prompt the start of a download. Let the file save and then run it. That should start installation of the newest version of Java. If you encounter problems in that installation try to give as specific transcripts of errors/steps that confuse as you can.
