This is interesting to read and I'll keep an eye out for her time in the Big Brother house. I remember her from UK Tickling preview clips.
I'm not a fan of the show anymore and this year they are celebrating Women with the promise to "test assumptions, challenge gender stereotypes...reveal fascinating truths about what it is to be a woman (or man) in the 21st century", which is all well and good but I fear this is a cheap gimmick posing as relevant in order to gain ratings - even if it does have genuine intentions I can't imagine anything new will be learned, it just seems an unfit vehicle for its own brief.
Therefore I doubt I'll be tuning in much, even though I do find several of the housemates interesting in their own right - Amanda Barrie is an actress I rate, Ann Widecombe is a politician who makes a lot more sense than people give her credit for and Maggie Oliver played a huge part in exposing a disgusting child-grooming ring after having left the police force because they wouldn't expose it (and still she was persecuted by a reactive general public who's refusal to fully research the matter before kicking off wasn't helpful at all).
Rant over. Let's just hope there's some tickling 🙂
