Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to join several .rm files into one flowing clip? I use Windows Movie Maker for .wmv and .mpg and such, but have yet to figure out how to do it with Real Player. Thanks,

THere's a specific realplayer program to do it, Real movie maker I think. Last time I checked I think there is a trial version on their site, but will go and check for ya 🙂 .

Well, it is actually called Heliz producer. I got the full version, so I don't know about trial version...ANYway, this is only the main program, the actually program that does the "joining" (appending) is Helix realmedia editor, you can also trip part o fthe clip too. (sort of like what I have been doing).

Is that the one that costs some $200.-?

They have a freebie version as well... realproducer basic. I've used it to edit scenes from large rm files and it works fine for me. It can also be used to merge rm files together. You can find the link for the free version on the very bottom of this page.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately they do not appear to have a Mac version.

Can you set me in the right direction?

Thanks.

Yup... turn right lol

Hi Fsfingers, in the folder that realproducer is in... you should find another program called "rmedtgui.exe"... that's actually the program you want. Although it's not as intuitive to use as windows movie maker... after messing about with it a bit you shouldn't have too much trouble getting it to work for ya... if you have any questions... feel free to message me

Hi Kooieca,

Thanks so much. It seems like nobody had ever discussed how to do this, and now I know what I'll be doing this weekend🙂.
