Journia Thread #244 Cheaters after the End

OKay, in movies and television shows, we all see the men who cheat on the women and what the women say afterward about the men. We see how they berate them and insult their character. Now, that doesn't bother me. What bothers me is, Does this Really Happen Ladies?

and secondly, Where are the scenes when the woman cheats on the man? If there are ,I don't know about them, and if so are there any scenes where the man berates the woman and insults her character? And do you really do that Gentlemen?

Thirdly, have you ever had a friend who cheated on someone? Was it a male or a female who cheated? and was it a male or female cheated on? What was your reaction? Was it more biased or was it equal to whomever it was doing the cheating?

Finally, Are you still friends with the cheater?

yes i've seen a movie where the woman cheats on the man..but she does that because she suspects her husband is cheating on her... Terms of Endearment is the movie...

usually in movies where the woman cheats, its

A) Revenge

or

B) Only once, and then she goes back to her husband and lives hapily ever after with her secret (ala Bridges of Madison County).

and occasionaly

C) Husband catches her in bed, and joins them.

C is prolly most common, just not in mainstream media 😉 😛

I never berated my ex wife for cheating. That was the least of the reasons we divorced. In fact, I don't think it had anything to do with my decision. There were other far worse things.

Other than that, I have no personal experiences with it, so I can't say.

OK, I got some experience with cheating, and I can say it's not limited to one gender. Honestly, I think that if any partner cheats on the other in relationship, that relationship should be over. I know mine would be.

ya The Perfect Murder...with Mike Douglas and Gwen Paltrow..she cheated on him..it was a remake of Dial M for Murder...only in the original, she wasn't cheating on him, but he was going to use it as an excuse to have her killed anyway..that starred Ray Miland and Grace Kelly..and was an Alfred Hitchcock vehicle..
